Oils

There are oil paints to suite all levels of experience from beginner to professional. For the beginner Georgian and Winton are manufactured to a high standard but aimed more at the student market by using materials that are more budget conscious. They are still great paints but the final result may not be as vibrant and have the same longevity as the professional paints such as Langridge, Art Spectrum or Winsor and Newton. Another thing to consider is the drying time. Oils are very slow to dry compared with acrylics and watercolour. Those who need the faster drying time can look at the Griffin Alkyd Oils.
