Sennelier Oil Pastels 24 Portrait Set

Sennelier Oil Pastels are regarded as one of the world’s finest professional oil pastels, prized for their incredibly soft consistency, exceptional pigment load and brilliant colour intensity. Originally developed in collaboration with Pablo Picasso, they have remained the benchmark for artists seeking rich, expressive colour with outstanding handling qualities.
Their smooth, creamy texture allows colour to be applied effortlessly, whether you’re creating delicate blended passages, bold impasto effects or dynamic layered compositions. The high concentration of pure pigments delivers vibrant, lightfast colours with remarkable covering power, while the carefully balanced binder ensures the pastels remain soft without becoming brittle.
Suitable for use on paper, card, canvas, wood and many prepared surfaces, Sennelier Oil Pastels can be blended with fingers, colour shapers or solvents to achieve an enormous range of effects. They work beautifully on their own or can be combined with other drawing and painting media for mixed-media artwork.
Whether you’re producing quick colour studies or finished gallery pieces, Sennelier Oil Pastels offer the richness, versatility and professional performance that have made them a favourite of artists for generations.
