The Princeton Velvetouch Long Handle Filbert Brush is one of the most versatile brush shapes available to artists. Its flattened body and softly rounded tip combine the coverage of a flat brush with the smooth, curved marks of a round brush.
The filbert’s distinctive shape allows artists to create broad strokes, soft edges and gently curved forms without leaving the hard corners associated with traditional flat brushes.
Made with responsive synthetic filaments, the Velvetouch Filbert provides excellent control and flexibility, making it particularly useful for blending colours and modelling rounded forms.
Ideal for:
An excellent all-purpose brush for acrylic and oil painters, particularly those who enjoy working with softer edges and natural forms.
