Princeton Velvetouch Filbert no 8

Princeton Velvetouch Filbert no 8

Filbert Brushes combine the width of a flat brush with softly rounded edges, making them wonderfully versatile for blending, shading and creating smooth, natural-looking strokes. Particularly useful for painting petals, leaves, clouds and organic shapes, the curved tip helps eliminate the hard edges often produced by traditional flat brushes.

Princeton Velvetouch Mixed Media Short Handled Brushes are versatile, high-performance brushes designed for artists working across a wide range of media. Featuring Princetons distinctive Velvetouch synthetic bristles, these brushes offer a smooth, controlled application with excellent paint pickup and release.

The soft yet responsive fibres provide the feel and performance of natural hair while offering the durability and consistency of a quality synthetic brush. They work beautifully with acrylics, watercolours, gouache, oils, and mixed media, making them an excellent choice for artists who enjoy experimenting with different techniques and materials.

The short handles provide excellent control, making these brushes particularly well suited to detailed work, close-up painting, and artists who prefer to work with their brush held closer to the surface. Velvetouch handles are ergonomically designed for comfortable use, while the durable construction ensures the brushes stand up to regular studio use.
